Keepsake

This piece is from my imagination. I let the brushstrokes take me where they needed to go which was very therapeutic. From a practical standpoint, I became intent on layering the paint but first began with applying washes in different paint colours to create a soft effect. Then, I began to apply the subsequent levels primarily using a two inch brush. Thus painting was created the day after Remembrance Day which inspired the use of red.

The price includes cost of a custom wood frame.
